2 days ago--
i went to the snow!!!
events of the day in some sort of order:
-got a HUGE nosebleed!
-didnt have any tissues, so we stopped at a 7/11
- watched house a bunch in the car.:]
- got to the snow, sledded, through snowballs at my dad.
- went to mcdonalds. got a hamburger happy meal w/ pickles, a cinnamon melt, and an m&m mcflurry. (i had had no food all day)

yesterday--

i dont remember.
i dont think anything happened yesterday.
or was yesterday the left alone all day day?

today--
-finished house season 2.
- learned the MOST shocking thing EVER, but it made me hahhy.

this is a post interrupting me string of alphabetical posts.
why?
because, i realize now that i missed the one year anniversary of the starting of this blog.
(last monday, if you care that much. :P)
and now, i will repost thee original post that started it all.

titled: if time is money, whats money?


Hi. Y'know, I thought the weirdest thing yesterday,

Time is a mental barrier we have built for ourselves to prevent us from doing fun stuff, like going to Disneyland. Ex: you ask your parents if you can go to Disneyland, but what do they say? "Sorry, but we don't have enough time." or something like that.

Money is a physical barrier we've built for ourselves too. Like, "Sorry, but we don't have enough money." blah blah blah. Which made me wonder, what if we didn't have time? What if time didn't exist? And money? What about it? That made my head hurt. So I stopped.

But what if we didn't have time? We would still measure months/days/weeks/years but not actually hours. Ther'd be no such thing as 12:45 PM. It just wouldn't exist. We would be able to do anything we wanted because we had time. Or rather, not, because it wouldn't exist. Do you see how backwards this is? Whatever. I'm starting to get head cramps anyway. Just go back to looking at the totally unrelated picture of the dolphin.

so. i went to the fall festival at montemalaga on friday. well, i really didnt have a choice. my mom forced my to go. and work! but it was fun. me and steph plated pizza. when the pizza was gone, we hung out with tristan and jared.

i also learned i might have a thumb fracture on monday. :O

today at school there was an outbreak of pe shorts. why? one of the staff was on a power trip. right and left girls were being asked to change into their pe clothes because their shorts were to short! it was annoying. i didnt get caught tho. heheh. :D im lucky. but tons of my friends had to change because of the stupid finger rule. in the orientaion assembly, the new principal said that as long as he couldnt see up our butts, it was okay. a bunch of people though, had to go change anyway! im so glad me and stacey didnt. talk about mortifiying. heh. oh well though. i didnt have to. all good.

i got sidetracked again. bleh. setting is easier than bumping. but it still kinda hurt. but less then bumping. way less. that is my volleyball opinion. the net for boys is 7 feet 11 5/8 inches high. that is my volleyball fact. get with it man.

lindsay says aim is confusing. she is confuzzled. poor lindsay. im makin lots o typos today. meh. for no reason too. hmph. andrews hates hmphs. wow. :P

that last post i think is going to be my entry into kelsey's hands writing contest. i feel like i should write something longer though.
im very good at getting distracted. i dont know if its the ADD that might be in me, but i am distracted a lot. especially when im posting and i get sidetracked on LOBH or something. heh. that happens a lot. like just now. HA! :P

so, my bday is coming up (next week friday!) and i bet you know im going to see sf with sara and my dad. and meet them. and they will sign my shoes. it will be epic. that reminds me that i have to make a wishlist. ah. me and my absentminded-ness. heheh. :D (in case you havent noticed, im not good at remembering things)

That's one I made myself. it's awesome, but unfortunatley all those crayons will end up in crayon hell one day. either that or on the floor behind a cabinet of some sort. poor crayons. To help end this epidemic of dead and dying crayons, please go out and buy boxes, lots and lots of boxes! then seperate those poor dead crayons into boxes by colour, so that they may be used till they become little crayon nubs that are of no use what-so-ever. thank you for listening.

This has nothing to do with jon foreman what-so-ever. or maybe it does. you decide.

If you are amylynnequist, or in my social studies class in the 6th grade, you know I can sing. One problem, I can't write music. I can sort of write songs, but they all explode. That happens when I sit down and WRITE. Like, with a crayon like I was doing last night at midnight. When I burst out in song though, they are good most of the time. I can't ever remember them though. What I need is a digital tape recoreder to carry around so that when I get inspired I can record my genius and write it down later.
Another problem is that I can't write the MUSIC part, like the guitar and stuff. I mean, I have a tune for the lyrics to follow, but I cant do the guitar. I can't help but follow the tune of the lyrics. Ugh. Oh well.

I'm really bored so I have decided to finally write my reviews of Jon Foreman's EPs. As you might already know, Jon Foreman is the lead singer of Switchfoot, a fantabulously awesome band. With that said, you might be wondering why Jon would want a solo project. The songs on the EPs are just not right to have been done with a band. In the reviews will be a link to Jon's website where you can preview the 24 songs from the 4 CDs.

ANDREW CAN SING!!!! Well, it sure surprised me. But I'm not kidding, he can sing well. Maybe not as good as a certain other person who writes this blog... *cough* me *cough* At least he sings better than Garret. (But from what I hear, it's not very hard to sing better than Garret)
It's kind of kool though, now that Andrew has a hidden talent. To bad he won't share it with anyone.

So, me and Stacey were talking about the iTunes top 10, and I decided to put up MY top 10!

1. Beat It (feat. John Mayer) - Fall Out Boy

Oh ya! That song totally rocks! If you haven't heard it yet, it's got the sweetest beat and they played it on New Year's Eve. It's a remake of a Michael Jackson song though, so for those of you that can't stand him, I don't care, 'cause I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

2. Hero/Heroine (Tom Lord-Alge Mix) - Boys Like Girls

This song is absolutley amazing. I found it on Steph's MySpace, and I can't stop listening. It's got an awesome sound. This song is so sweet too! I love the lyrics. Although, "heroine" does sound like a drug. I think it is actually....

3. Misery Buisness (Acoustic) - Paramore

Acoustic songs are just fantastic. In this version of Misery Buisness, you can really hear Hayley Williams amazing voice clearly. Also, she does the same vocal stuff that I do when I sing to the real version, like going down instead of up. Her voice is AMAZING. I love Hayley so much. I actually feel like cutting my hair like her. =P

4. Stars - Switchfoot

I just had to. Just HAD to. Switchfoot is one of my all-time favorite bands, and this is one of my most favorite songs by them. I'm even considering using it in the title sequence of my movie that I'm going to make over the summer. The lyrics are great in this song. It talks about how when he looks in the stars, he feels like himself, a normal, happy person. I also have the acoustic, but this version is so much more energetic and fun. I don't care if stupid Andrew hates Switchfoot!

5. New Soul - Yael Naim

Ya. That's right. I like the song from the MacBook Air commercial!! This song is so nice and happy, and I love her accent. Did you know she's french? But whatever. Stacey says this song is boring! I can't even believe it! This song is fresh, but comparred to all my other songs, is calm and sweet.....

6. No Air - Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown

I don't know why I like this song at all. Just that when I first previewed it on iTunes, I fell in love with it. Stacey fell in love with it too, so I may need to kick it off my list soon! She makes me listen to it every day after school, which can get annoying.

7. Stars (Acoustic) - Switchfoot

I couldn't help it, STARS ROCKS MY SOCKS!!!! It rocks yours too! So.... basically the same as up there, cept this one is more calm.

8. Our Time Now - Plain White T's

The lyrics in this song are so inspiring. "Finally it's our time now" How can you not like that? Well, I do anyway. There is this one weird part of the song though... Tom Higginson has a strange voice!! (and a huge nose!)

9. When the Day Met the Night - Panic! at the Disco

This was off Pretty. Odd. and I knew I had to put at least one Panic! at the Disco song up here. This song is about the day the moon fell in love with the sun, and how her eyes saved his life (in the middle of summer. ;] ) It warms me for some reason. Brenden Whats-his-name has a really neet, distinctive voice.

10. Stop and Stare - OneRepublic

Well, I had to choose something! (jk) This song is... i... don't... really... know... I just like it! That is all the explanation I will give! Ha!

Sooooooooooooooooooooo, I was at Disneyland on thursday!! For 13 whole hours I might add. But ANYWAY.....
I got the cutest new bag at the Quiksilver store in Downtown Disney! You don't care about that though. So, Kelli, Ellie, William, and Kevin were there. We went on almost all the rides it was so much fun! I had to ride in the front on Splash Mountain. Not a very pleasent experiance if you ask me. All in all, it was the highlight of my springbreak. (Except for maybe getting a Juicy Cotoure jacket! ;] )

12 minute jog

I just had the 12 MINUTE JOG!!!!! =( I HATED it. It was so long! Me and LeeAnne only did six laps. I am NEVER doing that again! But guess what? Next trimester, we have to do 16 minutes!! Thomas, he did twice as many laps as me and LeeAnne and he lapped us three times!!! How does he do it? I would never be able to do that!

Caught In the Act!

Yesterday I saw the PVIS play Caught In the Act. It was really good, actually. Chris rieger, he was in the play, in one part, he went onstage NAKED! Wearing only boxers!!!! It was so funny!!!! The play was really awesome, but last night was the last show, so if you didn't see it, YOU MISSED OUT! I think its ok though, they might show it at school, but it will never be as kool as when I saw it live!! Bye bye!
